In preparation for the impending Quebec student strike, the Montreal Coalition for Paid Internships will host a day of training and skill-sharing at Concordia University’s Hall building (on Maisonneuve, between Mackay and Bishop).
The sessions will take place in rooms H-627, H-629, and H-631 on Saturday, Feb. 2 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, followed by a dinner. Topics covered will include how to organize a direct action, the importance of decentralization and autonomy, communicating with the media, and lessons from the week of strikes in November.
Whisper translation, childcare, and vegan meals and snacks will be available. The space is wheelchair accessible.
More detailed updates will be shared via the Facebook event page (in French).
